What is an Audiogram?

An audiogram is a graph showing how well you can perceive different sound frequencies.

Frequency on an audiogram is charted on the horizontal axis, while a linear dBHL scale is shown on it's vertical axis. "Normal hearing" falls within the range of -10dBHL and 15dBHL, as well as 0dB from 250Hz to 8kHz.

You can learn more about audiograms and how to read them at the American Academy of Audiology: Understanding your audiogram.
